Professional Care for Your Feet. CALL: 07954828641

SERVICES

Enjoy the convenience of having your feet treated at your home. No driving, parking or public transport. Less time, less money, less hassle! Each appointment lasts approximately ¾ of an hour to ensure you get a complete treatment. To help sooth your feet I offer a short foot massage with foot cream after your treatment.

I offer a home visiting chiropody/podiatry service in Exeter, Exmouth and the surrounding areas. I am available to book for chiropody/podiatry appointments at your home address on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9.00 am – 5.30 pm. Evening appointments are also available on request.

I offer treatment and/or advice for the following foot problems:

  • Corn and hard skin (callus) removal.

  • Heels that have hard skin, which can be cracked and painful.

  • Thickened and damaged nails.

  • Nails with a fungal infection which can also be thickened and damaged.

  • Ingrown toe nails (please note I do not offer nail surgery).

  • Toe nail cutting for people who find it difficult to manage this themselves.

  • Verruca treatment using cryotherapy which involves freezing the verruca to try and destroy it.

  • A foot health check for people who have diabetes. This involves simple and quick tests to check the blood and nerve supply to your feet, a visual check of your foot and advice on how to prevent the foot problems that be can associated with diabetes. You may already have had this check done by another podiatrist or your practice nurse. If you are diabetic and have any immediate concerns about your feet please don’t delay taking action. See or speak to your GP, practice nurse or podiatrist as soon as possible.

  • A biomechanical assessment. This is useful for people who are experiencing pain in the lower limb and feet. Foot conditions for example that might benefit from treatment following a biomechanical assessment are: painful flat feet, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, metatarsalgia and Achilles tendinitis. If required I can order pre-designed insoles (also called orthotics) that can be helpful for the treatment of biomechanical conditions.
